About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Market Development Director to lead our commercial sales strategy for the non-hospital market segment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a US commercial sales strategy for emerging market segments, including Payer Access, Managed Care Plans, LTACH/LTC, SNF, and rehabilitation, DME/HME, and EMS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive business growth in the non-hospital market segment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key executives at payers and managed care plans to develop new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, clinical education, inside sales, and corporate accounts, to inform and execute sales strategies.
  • Identify and prioritize growth opportunities, and develop business plans to capitalize on these opportunities.
  • Support the development and execution of sales training programs to ensure sales teams have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the non-hospital market segment.
  • Provide market insights and analysis to inform business decisions and drive sales growth.
Requirements
  • 6-10 years of relevant medical device sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding quota in high-pressure environments.
  • 3-5 years of enterprise selling experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in payer or IDN/GPO settings.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to manage complex sales processes and build relationships with executive-level customers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Clinical background and training are a plus.
Work Environment

This role requires 65% national overnight travel and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
