Role Summary

We are currently seeking a proactive and organized Administrative Coordinator for School Operations. This full-time role will support the Lower School Assistant Principal and will be instrumental in enhancing the operational efficiency of our school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster positive relationships with all members of the school community.
  • Welcome and guide visitors and families entering the campus.
  • Manage incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately.
  • Monitor and document attendance, communicating relevant information to faculty and families.
  • Assist families with student drop-off and pick-up logistics.
  • Support the Lower School office with inventory management and supply orders.
  • Handle mail distribution effectively.
  • Assist with clerical tasks including data entry, filing, and event organization.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with parents and guardians.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the administrative team.
  • Contribute to school-wide operations and initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in French is preferred, with strong communication skills in both French and English.
  • Exceptional phone etiquette and reception skills.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to deliver high-quality customer service.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple demands with a positive attitude.
  • Collaborative spirit and effective teamwork skills.
  • Strong organizational and technological proficiency.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and take initiative.
  • Experience in independent schools or nonprofit organizations is a plus.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of the French American International School.
  • Appreciation for and understanding of diverse cultures.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required.

The compensation for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
