We have developed cutting-edge technology for electric vehicle (EV) charging in multi-family residential buildings. The demand for EV charging solutions is rapidly increasing, with EVs constituting a significant portion of car sales in California this past year. Charging capabilities are transitioning from being an optional amenity to a fundamental necessity in multi-family properties.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a startup poised for significant growth. Our team comprises innovators with backgrounds in technology (including experience at Zoox, Amazon, and Alcatel) and is supported by our real estate partners at Greystar, Glencrest Group, and GP Muirfield Company. Our mission is to bridge the EV infrastructure gap and provide equitable charging solutions for multi-family housing. With accessible charging and reduced energy costs, we aim to ensure that everyone can benefit from cleaner and more affordable vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Coordinator

  • Establish and enforce procedures and policies for all administrative functions.
  • Oversee record-keeping, document preparation, mail distribution, and reception duties.
  • Maintain office conditions and coordinate necessary repairs.
  • Manage resources to troubleshoot issues, identifying optimal solutions and resolving problems.
  • Supervise vendor selection and procurement of office equipment and supplies, including negotiating terms with vendors and service providers.
  • Organize in-house or off-site events, such as celebrations and conferences.
  • Conduct site visits as required.
  • Assist with basic IT tasks, such as creating new email accounts and setting up user profiles.
  • Engage with employees to address their inquiries regarding organizational matters.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Lab Technician

  • Execute basic lab technician responsibilities.
  • Conduct testing on company systems, including managing test setups in the lab and executing test charging sessions according to established plans.
  • Implement configuration changes on testing systems, following guidelines for setting up computers and network systems.
  • Carry out calibration of devices, adhering to instructions for connecting devices and executing calibration commands.
  • Maintain an inventory record.
  • Transport inventory between locations as necessary.
  • Replace devices in the field, retrieving items from inventory, visiting sites, and utilizing basic tools for installation and commissioning.
  • Perform field inspections and basic troubleshooting, acting as our 'eyes and hands on the ground' for hardware resets and other minor repairs.

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • High School diploma or GED; additional qualifications as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Office Manager, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.
  • Willingness to learn basic lab technician tasks; prior lab technician experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and executing office administrative responsibilities, systems, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office programs (especially MS Excel and MS Outlook), as well as familiarity with office equipment (such as fax machines and printers).
  • Experience with email scheduling tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively engage with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proven integrity and ethical behavior.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for generating innovative ideas and strategies.
