We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Schools of the Sacred Heart. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the administrative team and contributing to the smooth operation of our school office.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to Division Heads and Grade Chairs, including preparing reports, generating mailings, and tracking attendance.
- Communication Support: Assist with school communications, including publishing the weekly electronic newsletter (Thursday Notes) and coordinating with faculty and staff.
- Event Planning: Support the planning and execution of daily and special events, including assemblies and presentations.
- Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical and administrative tasks, including generating forms, tracking faculty substitutions, and completing space requests.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the administrative team to ensure the efficient operation of the school office.
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: 2-3 years of administrative experience, preferably in a school setting.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple projects, excellent writing and communication skills, and proficiency in technology applications, including Google Suite and Microsoft Excel.
- Physical Requirements: Regularly lifting or carrying 1-20 lbs, pushing/pulling/bending/stooping/kneeling, and climbing stairs.
