We have developed cutting-edge technology for electric vehicle charging in multi-family residences. This market is rapidly expanding, with electric vehicles accounting for a significant portion of car sales in recent years. The demand for EV charging capabilities is shifting from being an amenity to a necessity in residential properties.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to be part of a startup poised for significant growth. Our team comprises innovators with backgrounds in technology and is supported by our real estate partners. Our mission is to bridge the electric vehicle divide and provide equitable charging infrastructure for multi-family housing, ensuring that everyone has access to cleaner and more affordable vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Coordinator

  • Establish and implement procedures and policies for all administrative functions.
  • Oversee record-keeping, document preparation, mail distribution, reception, and bill scanning.
  • Maintain office conditions and coordinate necessary repairs.
  • Coordinate resources to troubleshoot issues, determining optimal solutions and resolving problems.
  • Manage vendor selection and procurement of office equipment and supplies, including negotiations with service providers.
  • Organize in-house or off-site events, such as celebrations and conferences.
  • Visit customer sites as required.
  • Assist with basic information technology tasks, such as creating new email accounts and setting up new systems.
  • Engage with employees to address their inquiries regarding organizational challenges.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Lab Technician

  • Conduct light laboratory technician duties.
  • Execute testing on company systems, including initiating and concluding test charging sessions according to a test plan.
  • Implement configuration changes on testing systems, following guidelines for setting up computers and network systems.
  • Perform calibration of devices by following instructions for setup and operation.
  • Maintain an inventory record.
  • Transport inventory between sites as necessary.
  • Replace devices in the field, including retrieving items from inventory and using basic tools for installation.
  • Conduct field inspections and basic troubleshooting, acting as our representative on-site.

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • High School diploma or GED; additional qualifications as an Administrative Assistant or related role are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Willingness to learn basic lab technician tasks; prior lab technician experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing office administration responsibilities, systems, and procedures.
  • Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel and MS Outlook.
  • Familiarity with email scheduling tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proven integrity and ethical behavior.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on generating innovative ideas.
