Facilities Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to join our team at Traffic Planning & Design. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean and safe working environment for all employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Facilities Management: Plan, coordinate, and direct all facilities-related activities, including space planning, maintenance, and repairs.
- Asset Management: Document and maintain a database of all facility-related assets, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Office Operations: Manage office supplies, facilities supplies, and department-specific supplies, ensuring a well-stocked and efficient work environment.
- Security and Access: Assist with managing security and access systems at all TPD offices, ensuring a secure and controlled environment.
- Communication: Establish and maintain regular communications with staff regarding facilities activities, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Project Support: Assist with facility repairs, installations, small construction remodeling, grounds improvement, and maintenance projects, as needed.
- Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to safety policies and equipment guidelines.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain all aspects of TPD's vehicles, including maintenance and purchase of new vehicles.
- Marketing Support: Place and maintain TPD's marketing signage at various job sites, as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to inquiries and requests.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Communication Skills: Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively with staff, clients, and customers.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to apply common sense and problem-solving skills to carry out detailed instructions and resolve issues.
- Physical Demands: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing, and walking, as required by the job.
- Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
