Xanitos is seeking full-time Environmental Service Technicians for various shifts.

Job Overview:

The Environmental Service Technicians will maintain cleanliness and orderliness in various locations within a healthcare campus. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
  • Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms.
  • Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
  • Dust furniture and equipment.
  • Polish metal surfaces.
  • Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas.
  • Replenish bathroom supplies.
  • Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
Qualifications:
  • Applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
  • Experience in janitorial services is preferred.
  • Experience in medical cleaning is advantageous.
  • Post-offer medical, background screening, and drug testing are required.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
Physical Demands:

The physical requirements of this position include standing, walking, using hands to handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs is necessary.

Work Environment:

Employees may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and may work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level is typically quiet.
