Department Overview: The South Bay Delivery team is a newly established organization dedicated to pioneering and executing innovative solutions to achieve significant outcomes in the South Bay region. This initiative necessitates strong leadership to integrate various internal and external components to meet ambitious net-zero objectives. The role is inherently cross-functional, requiring collaboration with PG&E and external stakeholders to realize a net-zero target by 2030, serving as a model for PG&E's long-term decarbonization strategy.

Position Summary: PG&E is committed to fulfilling the climate vision set forth by the city of San Jose for 2030. To succeed, the Senior Program Management Leader will collaborate with designated departments, partners, and industry organizations to spearhead cross-functional initiatives aimed at reducing carbon emissions for both PG&E and the City of San Jose. The outcomes of these initiatives are not only ambitious but also hold the potential for substantial impact on a broader scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize extensive knowledge of utility program management to assist the team in achieving established goals.
  • Facilitate the expansion of program offerings to implement PG&E's Net-Zero San Jose strategy, which may involve launching new programs or enhancing existing ones.
  • Support program data requests from various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively across functions with identified departments, partners, and industry organizations.
  • Clearly communicate program strategies, statuses, and effectiveness to leadership.
  • Refine operational processes to ensure sustained optimal program performance.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators and dashboards to track program progress and achievements.
  • Foster a high-performing work environment aligned with PG&E's core values: Speak up, act with integrity, and champion safety.
  • Engage with Directors and Managers across functions to influence decision-making.
  • Convey complex ideas to diverse audiences through various communication channels.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts and leaders to address challenges and seize opportunities.
  • Continuously seek enhancements to the customer experience.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 10 years of experience in program management, project management, account management, or similar fields.
