Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the culinary team to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high resident satisfaction.
- 2-year culinary degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of food preparation experience in a high-volume dining services venue, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Possess and maintain Safe Serve certification.
- Knowledge of proper food handling, storage, and safety protocols and regulations.
- Ability to read, write, and follow directions in a recipe.
- Ability to lead and direct the work of others.
- Experience in a senior living environment.
- Knowledge of special diets and menu planning.
