Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic partner and advisor to business unit leaders, ensuring alignment of HR policies with business objectives.
  • Oversee HR staff within the business unit, ensuring high-quality service delivery to employees.
  • Provide guidance and coaching on human resources services, policies, and associate relations.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Participate in executive staff meetings to anticipate organizational needs based on business insights.
  • Support the development and motivation of human capital to meet current and future business needs.
  • Manage recruitment processes and build organizational design models to align with business requirements.
  • Plan and implement developmental training and career paths for associates.
  • Foster a positive work environment that reflects the company's values, including diversity and inclusion.
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards and act as a change leader within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of HR experience in an engineering-focused organization, with at least 2 years in partnership with executive leadership.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of financial statements and market strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical skills with a focus on process improvement.
  • Experience with HCM systems and advanced Excel skills are required.
