Overview

We are in search of a skilled IT Systems Infrastructure Specialist who is enthusiastic about enhancing their technical expertise. In this position, the ideal candidate will safeguard our essential business technology systems, both on-premises and within the Microsoft Azure environment. You will be tasked with designing and building solutions, implementing new software and hardware, and contributing to the formulation of a comprehensive IT strategy. Your responsibilities will include the effective installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure systems hardware and software, ensuring a dependable technical foundation for the organization.

We seek an individual with advanced problem-solving abilities capable of managing and resolving intricate incidents, demonstrating the determination and motivation to see projects through to completion while effectively communicating across various organizational levels.

Responsibilities
  • Develop expertise in a specific area of our Microsoft Azure Tenant, network infrastructure, and application stack to deliver Tier II and III support.
  • Engage in the IT Operations lifecycle, which encompasses documentation, provisioning, deployment, training, maintenance, troubleshooting, and management of complex interrelated systems.
  • Provide technical oversight for both physical and virtual architectures, including planning, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in leading project implementations, changes, and enhancements to the environment.
  • Ensure high reliability and performance through systematic monitoring and infrastructure management.
  • Oversee and monitor the health of the VMWare server environment.
  • Maintain Active Directory, Domain, DNS, and related technologies to facilitate secure and reliable access to the network and servers.
  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of technology integrations among various systems, whether on-premises, physical, virtual, or cloud-based.
  • Be prepared for occasional night and weekend work for system updates and maintenance.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in data protection, including disaster recovery, data storage, and backup and restore technologies.
  • Understanding of networking and server administration.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols.
  • Experience with cloud and on-premises application delivery technologies such as Citrix and SCCM.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment; strong interpersonal skills and adaptability are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey information to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills with a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Must be available for approximately 25% travel within designated regions.
  • Occasional night and weekend work may be required, including overnight stays depending on project locations.
  • Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. unassisted.
