Position Title: Sales and Customer Relations Specialist
Reports To: General Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Overview: This role is responsible for ensuring the excellence and effectiveness of the sales and customer service operations at Goldfish Swim School. This includes managing sales activities, customer engagement, retail operations, vending services, and employee workplace initiatives. Regular performance assessments will be conducted and reported to the General Manager.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of prior experience in customer service and/or administrative roles is essential.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Word, Excel, and various software systems, is required.
- Sales experience is necessary, and experience in training staff is advantageous.
Certifications: Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications are required and will be provided during the training process.
Work Environment: The role may involve exposure to heat and humidity at times, with a generally moderate noise level.
Key Requirements:
- Ability to engage effectively with children.
- Strong customer service skills are essential.
- Prior sales experience is required.
- Comfortable using computers and various platforms.
- Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must successfully pass background checks (included with training).
