Key Responsibilities:

The Overnight Guest Services Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests. Your duties will include:
  • Welcoming guests upon arrival and assisting with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Addressing guest inquiries and concerns throughout their stay.
  • Managing busy phone lines and processing reservations efficiently.
  • Maintaining knowledge of hotel services and local attractions to provide accurate information.
  • Collaborating with other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests.
  • Performing night audit functions to prepare for the next day.
Essential Duties:
  • Conducting the night audit with precision and attention to detail.
  • Logging wake-up call requests accurately.
  • Providing courteous and friendly service to all callers.
  • Recording reservation details accurately and completely.
  • Understanding and confirming guest reservations and rates.
  • Handling guest accounting functions in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Registering guests and establishing proper credit per hotel policy.
  • Processing check-outs and addressing guest feedback.
  • Documenting guest requests and issues, reporting maintenance needs.
  • Adhering to emergency procedures as trained.
  • Posting room charges and processing payment transactions.
  • Preparing summaries of cash and credit activities for management review.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in auditing and account balancing.
  • Utilizing front office technology and equipment effectively.
Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous experience in front desk operations or auditing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with OPERA or similar hotel management software.
  • Strong mathematical skills and the ability to operate office equipment.
  • Reliability, dependability, and integrity are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with guests and colleagues.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods while assisting guests.
  • Capability to walk frequently and bend to pick up supplies.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
