Position Summary
The Night Auditor plays a crucial role within the Guest Services team, overseeing the hotel’s overnight operations. This position is responsible for verifying guest account accuracy, balancing financial transactions, and providing comprehensive guest assistance. The ideal candidate will possess a positive demeanor and a strong dedication to delivering outstanding customer service.

Work Schedule
Full-time availability is required, including weekdays and weekends.

Compensation
Starting pay is $18.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check guests into the hotel, confirming reservations and payment details.
  • Assist with kiosk operations as needed.
  • Respond to phone inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Address guest concerns and requests promptly and courteously.
  • Collaborate with department heads to resolve issues effectively.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of hotel amenities and local attractions.
  • Process payments during check-in and check-out.
  • Handle retail transactions for guests.
  • Manage luggage claims and assist with guest luggage as requested.
  • Oversee nightly hotel operations, ensuring accurate revenue reporting and addressing discrepancies.
  • Compile and distribute daily reports for management review.
  • Investigate service and safety incidents, documenting findings and recommendations.
  • Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures to ensure guest safety.
  • Perform Guest Services Agent duties as needed.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in hospitality, particularly in front office or accounting roles.
  • Strong communication skills in a multilingual environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, innovative setting.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hotel services and facilities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
