About the Role

AustinPeopleWorks is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic business development plans to attract new clients and grow our client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams to drive business growth.
  • Utilize industry-specific tools and technologies, such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and HubSpot CRM, to streamline business development efforts.
  • Research and provide recommendations for attending industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company and generate leads.
  • Provide regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics to senior management.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, with a focus on targeting and securing B2B tech clients.
  • Proven track record of successfully using industry-specific tools and technologies to drive business growth.
  • Strong understanding of the technology and SaaS industries, with the ability to quickly grasp new vertical markets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, consulting, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker who can support the development and execution of effective business development plans.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
