Field Sales Representative

As a Field Sales Representative at United Rentals, you will serve as the primary contact for our esteemed organization. Your outstanding sales and consultative abilities will be crucial in identifying the needs of potential clients and converting them into dedicated customers. We seek individuals who are enthusiastic, outgoing, and possess a passion for engaging with clients, fostering relationships, and promoting our equipment and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Optimize revenue generation from construction sites and facilities within a designated geographic area Cultivate and maintain relationships with current customers and their affiliated companies, serving as their main point of contact Identify and qualify new business opportunities from existing, dormant, or competitor accounts Collaborate with representatives from specialized divisions to enhance cross-selling opportunities Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans Create and deliver presentations on company products and services to both current and prospective clients Utilize CRM tools to build a robust pipeline of opportunities Keep abreast of competitor activities, market trends, and product innovations Perform additional duties as assignedQualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience Minimum of three years in a sales role Exceptional skills in relationship-building and communication Strong abilities in planning, problem-solving, and negotiation Familiarity with construction or related equipment is preferred Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving recordThis position offers a competitive base salary along with monthly commissions based on performance metrics.
A guaranteed minimum monthly incentive is available during the onboarding and training phase.
This role is classified as Safety Sensitive in accordance with United Rentals' policies.
