The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Fraud Decision Science Analyst Mid-Level to join our team. As a key member of our fraud prevention team, you will play a critical role in providing decision support for business areas across the enterprise. Your expertise in mathematical and statistical techniques will help us identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring the integrity of our financial systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply advanced analytical techniques to solve complex business problems and drive fact-based decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and influence solution strategies
  • Develop and implement innovative analytical approaches to draw conclusions and make recommendations
  • Communicate complex analysis and findings to colleagues and management through effective presentation and reporting
  • Identify and gather relevant data sources to support analysis and recommendations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative analytics field, such as economics, finance, statistics, mathematics, or actuarial sciences
  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics or a related field, with a focus on fraud detection and prevention
  • Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools, data visualization, and SQL programming
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a basic understanding of statistics
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

USAA offers a competitive salary range of $89,990 - $172,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
