Key Responsibilities:

The Clinical Sales Representative will:

  • Assist the DePuy Synthes sales team in maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients while facilitating product transitions with new clients.
  • Contribute to achieving established sales targets, including market share goals within the designated territory.
  • Utilize knowledge of the sales process, product offerings, and customer insights to enhance sales performance.
  • Guide and support surgeons in the operating room through clinical expertise and product knowledge.
  • Demonstrate and ensure the correct application of DePuy Synthes products.
  • Attend surgeries to provide customer support, ensuring the availability and functionality of necessary equipment.
  • Offer consultation to Operating Room and Sterile Processing Departments.
  • Troubleshoot and provide technical assistance as needed, manage customer inquiries, and oversee hospital billing processes.
  • Share valuable insights regarding customers, procedures, and market trends with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams to enhance service levels.
  • Prepare necessary sales documentation and reports.
  • Oversee the maintenance and effective distribution of equipment and assets in the assigned area, ensuring product availability.
  • Ensure promotional materials are presented professionally and uphold the highest quality standards for DePuy Synthes services and offerings.
  • Focus on enhancing customer satisfaction and retention while improving clients' understanding of DePuy Synthes's unique value propositions.
  • Differentiate our products from competitors by providing customers with unique insights.

Compensation and Benefits:

This position operates on a commission-based structure and is eligible for a car allowance through the Company's Fleet program.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree with relevant medical certification (CST, PT, etc.) plus a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience, or
  • Recent transition from Active Military Duty.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a clinical environment.
  • A valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel, including potential weekend and overnight trips.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and proactive approach to work.
  • Preferred strong technical knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures.
