Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and management of electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, addendums, and change orders.
  • Ensure that project drawings and specifications are consistently updated for both field and office personnel.
  • Review and submit accurate project submittals, collaborating with subcontractors as necessary.
  • Prepare and issue change orders for any work beyond the agreed-upon scope.
  • Facilitate project closeout processes, including the delivery of punch list completions and as-built documentation.
  • Lead and prepare for various meetings with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors, providing clear and effective meeting notes.
  • Contribute to the estimating and preconstruction phases of potential projects.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, productivity tracking, and daily reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to procure materials, ensuring timely deliveries that align with project schedules.
  • Analyze project materials and practices, offering recommendations for enhancements.
  • Oversee all financial aspects of the project, including change orders and billing documentation.
  • Identify and address project concerns proactively to mitigate risks and maintain strong relationships.
  • Utilize various software programs for project management and documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in project management for projects exceeding $20 million.
  • Proven ability to prepare and analyze electrical estimates.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing direct reports.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Familiarity with ConEst, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu is preferred.
Job Details:
  • Job Type: Direct Hire
  • Compensation: $75,000 to $110,000 annually
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
  • Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability
