Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Support Technician to become a vital part of our team focused on developmental disabilities. In this role, you will work under the guidance of a qualified Intervention Specialist or Professional, who will oversee and evaluate the direct support services you provide. This position is designed to help individuals acquire the necessary qualifications and experience to advance to an intervention specialist role. Please note that provisional status is limited to a single eighteen (18) month period.

Children's Therapy Place is a comprehensive outpatient pediatric therapy provider with multiple locations. Our services encompass speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, mental health counseling, and behavioral support through our developmental disabilities agency.

Qualifications Required

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in a Human Services field, with no more than 24 semester credits remaining; OR
  • Possess a bachelor's degree in a Human Services discipline from an accredited institution.
