Role Description: We are seeking both experienced and entry-level Behavior Technicians to join our exceptional team of ABA practitioners. Under supportive supervision, you will deliver high-quality ABA services to children with autism in a nurturing clinic environment.

In this role, you will primarily work one-on-one with children, implementing treatment plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reducing challenging behaviors and teaching essential skills such as communication, social interaction, and self-care.
  • Collaborating with caregivers to provide strategies that support their children's development.
  • Occasionally working in small group settings to enhance learning experiences.

The core responsibility of the Behavioral Technician is to accurately implement treatment plans while collecting data on child behavior, serving as a crucial agent of change in the lives of our clients.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of at least 2 years of college (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 6 months experience working with children.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for working with children, particularly those with disabilities.
  • Current state driver's license and proof of car insurance.
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support and willingness to maintain certification.
  • Completion of 40 hours of RBT training (provided within 90 days of employment).
  • Pass the RBT Competency Assessment and obtain certification.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and verification of work authorization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move throughout the clinic and assist learners as needed.
  • Capability to observe and monitor learners' behavior continuously.
  • Physical stamina to engage in various postures for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist BCBA in conducting behavioral assessments.
  • Implement therapy sessions based on individualized treatment plans.
  • Facilitate parent training and support.
  • Manage challenging behaviors effectively.
  • Collect and analyze behavioral data accurately.

Compensation: $18-25/hr DOE. Full-time and part-time positions available.
