Role Description:

We are seeking both experienced and entry-level Behavior Support Specialists to join our exceptional team of applied behavior analysis (ABA) practitioners at our location.

Under supportive supervision, our specialists provide empathetic, high-quality ABA services to children with autism in a nurturing clinic environment.


In this role, you will primarily engage in one-on-one interactions with children with autism, collaborating with a clinical team under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to address challenging behaviors and teach essential skills such as communication, social interaction, and self-care. You will also work with families to equip them with strategies to support their children.

Occasionally, you will collaborate with fellow specialists and children in small group settings within the clinic.


Your primary responsibility will be to accurately implement the treatment plans designed by your supervisor, while collecting and analyzing data on child behavior.


As a vital agent of behavior change, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for the children you serve.

Qualifications:
Completion of at least 2 years of college (Bachelor's degree preferred)

General Requirements:
At least 6 months of experience working with children
Must have a genuine passion for working with children, particularly those with disabilities
Energetic and optimistic outlook
Current state driver's license
Proof of car insurance
Reliable transportation and punctuality
Certification in Basic Life Support and willingness to maintain certification
Completion of 40 hours of RBT training (provided within 90 days of employment)
Pass the RBT Competency Assessment and obtain certification
Willingness to undergo background checks
Verification of legal work authorization upon hire
Ability to respond positively to guidance and coaching
Team-oriented and collaborative

Physical Requirements:
Ability to move throughout the Learning Center to gather materials and respond to learners' needs
Ability to assist learners physically as needed
Capable of observing and monitoring learners' behavior continuously
Occasional lifting of objects/clients up to 30 pounds
Ability to maintain various postures for extended periods

Desired Qualifications:
Experience as a Registered Behavior Technician and working one-on-one with children in ABA is highly desirable
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:
Assist a BCBA with behavioral assessments

Manage a small caseload of children
