About Us: Maraca is a clinician-led organization founded by experts in behavior analysis. We are committed to exceeding clinical quality standards and continuously improving our ABA services. Our focus is on delivering compassionate, high-quality care to children with autism and their caregivers.
Role Description: We are seeking both experienced and entry-level Behavior Therapists and RBTs to join our dedicated team in providing high-quality ABA services. Under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will work closely with children with autism, implementing treatment plans designed to enhance their communication, social skills, and overall development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions with children, focusing on reducing challenging behaviors and teaching essential skills.
- Collaborate with caregivers to equip them with strategies to support their children's growth.
- Collect and analyze data on child behavior to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Completion of at least 2 years of college (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 6 months experience working with children.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Certification in Basic Life Support and willingness to maintain certification.
- Completion of 40 hours of RBT training (provided by the company).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to move throughout the Learning Center and assist learners as needed.
- Capability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to maintain various postures for extended periods.
