Simulation Support Technician

SUMMARY
This role is a full-time opportunity within the ARNG Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP). The Simulation Technician will play a vital role in providing assistance to the MTC and various training facilities or deployed locations as required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the local authority on hardware, software, and operational aspects of FIRESIM/ExCIS, BSWS, JDLM, MUSE SENGEN, or WARSIM systems.
- Address inquiries regarding system operations and resolve technical issues.
- Deliver formal training sessions for BSWS operators.
- Maintain comprehensive guides for system setup, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to computer hardware, software, and basic networking configurations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 1 year of experience in the LVC-G field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in system setup and troubleshooting.
- Proficient understanding of Windows OS and Linux OS.
- Experience working in high-security environments and managing classified equipment.
- Meets DOD Baseline and Computing Environment Certification Requirements Level II.
- Completion of DISA INFOSEC Awareness training is required.
Minimum AA/AS degree in a relevant field (BA/BS preferred).
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Must achieve CompTIA Security+ certification.
