Client Care Coordinator for Medicaid Services

Alaant Workforce Solutions is seeking a Medicaid Application Support Specialist to join our client's legal practice.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting applicants and their families throughout the Medicaid application journey. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with clients, financial institutions, and the Department of Social Services (DSS) to ensure the timely and accurate submission of applications.
Position Details for the Medicaid Application Support Specialist:
+ This is a direct hire opportunity.
+ Standard working hours are Monday through Friday.
+ The salary range is between $55,000 and $70,000, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
+ Client Interaction: Engage with clients, financial advisors, and insurance representatives through various communication channels to collect necessary information for Medicaid applications.
+ Issue Resolution: Anticipate and address challenges proactively to facilitate the application process.
+ Document Management: Gather and organize critical documents (such as financial records and vital statistics) required for Medicaid applications with DSS.
+ Service Enhancement: Suggest and implement improvements to elevate service quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
+ Client Consultations: Conduct initial meetings to review and finalize Medicaid applications and supporting documents, with follow-up sessions as necessary.
+ Deadline Management: Prioritize and manage tasks effectively to consistently meet application deadlines.
Qualifications for the Medicaid Application Support Specialist:
+ A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; additional education or certification in office administration is advantageous.
+ Demonstrated experience as a Medicaid paralegal or in a similar role is required.
+ Exceptional client service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
+ Strong proofreading skills and meticulous attention to detail.
+ Excellent organizational abilities with a focus on prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
+ Proficiency in analyzing financial statements and tracking transactions across various investment vehicles.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
+ Capability to work independently.
