Your responsibilities will include collaborating with clients, financial institutions, and the Department of Social Services (DSS) to ensure that applications are submitted accurately and promptly.

Position Details for the Medicaid Application Support Specialist:

Key Responsibilities:

+ Client Interaction: Engage with clients, financial advisors, and insurance providers through various communication channels to collect necessary information for Medicaid applications.

+ Issue Resolution: Anticipate potential challenges and proactively address them to streamline the application process.

+ Document Management: Gather and organize essential documentation (such as financial records and vital statistics) required for Medicaid applications with DSS.

+ Service Enhancement: Suggest and implement improvements to enhance service quality, efficiency, and responsiveness to client needs.

+ Client Consultations: Conduct initial meetings to review and finalize Medicaid applications and supporting documents, with follow-up consultations as necessary.

+ Timely Communication: Prioritize and manage tasks effectively to consistently meet application deadlines.

Qualifications:

+ A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or certification in office administration is advantageous.

+ Demonstrated experience as a Medicaid paralegal or in a similar capacity.

+ Exceptional client service and communication skills, both verbal and written.

+ Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.

+ Excellent organizational abilities with a focus on prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

+ Proficient in analyzing financial statements and tracking transactions across various investment platforms.

+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.

+ Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively.
