Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Development Representative to join our team at Imperative Recruiting. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading 3rd party agency, driving leads and building relationships to increase sales velocity.
As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for conducting outreach via multiple channels, collaborating on lead generation, and maintaining industry knowledge. You will also be responsible for lead qualification, research and qualification of leads, delivering qualified leads, executing targeted campaigns, and educating the market.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of B2B sales or business development experience, with a strong network of senior decision-makers across Fortune 500 companies, mid-tier corporations, and organizations supporting Black entrepreneurship. They will also have experience in key verticals such as Technology & AI, Finance, Corporate Sponsorships, Export/Global Trade, or Entrepreneurship ecosystems.
We offer a competitive salary of $90,000 per year, plus benefits including unlimited PTO, 10 paid federal holidays off, and 2 weeks of winter holiday vacation. Our team meetings are held quarterly in-person and annually at an all-expenses-paid retreat. The salary range may vary based on location, but we ensure that it aligns with the national average for this position.
