Data People Search, a leading digital loyalty platform provider, is seeking a skilled Business Development Lead to join their team in Cleveland, OH. Our client offers a powerful solution for convenience store and gas station niches, with a strong presence in Europe and expanding to the US.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will lead the hunting, nurturing, and closing of new opportunities nationwide, reporting directly to the Head of Sales and General Manager. This role involves selling directly to C-store and Gas-Station chains with over 20 stores, identifying and prospecting potential clients through market research, industry contacts, trade shows, and online platforms.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and identify new leads through various channels.
- Engage with leads to build relationships, understand their business needs, and showcase the value of our client's solutions.
- Work closely with the sales team and stakeholders to convert opportunities into signed contracts.
- Develop tailored proposals, negotiate terms, and present compelling business cases to demonstrate ROI.
Requirements
- 5-7 years consultative/solutions sales experience in SaaS environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in lead generation and lead nurturing to successfully convert prospects into clients.
