Position Overview:
The National Restoration Operations Manager is a dynamic role that involves extensive travel and is accountable for the daily management of all assigned restoration initiatives for significant commercial properties. This includes, but is not limited to, the selection of temporary labor, procurement and management of equipment, on-site supervision, ensuring paperwork accuracy, and maintaining quality standards.

Compensation Package:
Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000
Additional CAT (Catastrophic) Pay: $750 per week during specific events.
Commission OTE Range: $50,000 - $100,000
Travel Per Diem: $346 per week to assist with travel-related expenses.
Vehicle Allowance: $500 per month plus fuel reimbursement.
Region: Nationwide support with up to 100% travel and a hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities:
Field Management:
  • Direct oversight of the Restoration Technician Team.
  • Respond to large-scale losses alongside the first responder team.
  • Recruit and manage temporary labor resources in collaboration with the Project Coordinator.
  • Oversee all large commercial and residential restoration projects.
  • Ensure all demolition is thorough and prepared for rebuilding.
  • Conduct safety toolbox talks and ensure compliance with company safety policies.
  • Manage time and material project sign-in sheets.
  • Adhere to OSHA and environmental regulations.
  • Guarantee project work meets the highest industry standards.
  • Supervise BluSky and temporary labor personnel on-site as necessary.
  • Follow all company best practices.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Office/Shop Management:
  • Review and manage project-related paperwork.
  • Ensure all subcontractors and temporary laborers operate under a subcontract agreement.
  • Approve or reject invoices with proper communication to the Project Accountant.
  • Develop and adjust project schedules as required.
  • Monitor and approve employee timecards.
  • Conduct monthly strategy meetings with direct reports.
  • Ensure IICRC training is current for all Technician personnel.
  • Hold team meetings for training and equipment checks.
  • Act as the direct report for the Shop Manager.
  • Ensure equipment is operational and ready for deployment.
  • Maintain and update equipment inventory lists monthly.
  • Ensure vehicles are stocked according to company specifications.
  • Direct, mentor, and train Technician personnel.
  • Participate in the company’s emergency mitigation on-call management rotation.
Profitability Management:
  • Achieve or surpass billing, revenue, and profit margin objectives set by the company.
  • Utilize temporary labor resources to avoid unnecessary overtime, excluding after-hours emergencies.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in residential and commercial restoration.
  • 3+ years of project management experience.
  • IICRC certifications in water and smoke restoration.
  • Willingness to travel for both emergency and non-emergency situations nationwide.
  • Strong communication skills with clients and internal/external stakeholders throughout the project management process.
Compensation and Benefits:
This role offers a competitive base salary, an attractive commission structure, and a comprehensive benefits package. Work Environment & Physical Demands:
