POSITION SUMMARY:

The National Restoration Operations Supervisor acts as a primary responder during emergency situations involving fire and water damage. This role involves understanding, organizing, and directing on-site activities. This position requires availability for on-call duties. The supervisor ensures that tasks are completed efficiently, adhering to scope, budget, and timelines. The National Restoration Operations Supervisor reports directly to the Project Manager.
Compensation: $20 - $26 per hour.
Daily Per Diem: $50 per day for essential expenses.
Additional CAT (catastrophic) Pay: $75 per day during designated events.
Travel Requirements: Nationwide travel is essential; candidates must be willing to travel 100% of the time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee the efficiency and progress of daily field operations.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to understand and implement the scope of work and develop schedules.
  • Assist in daily planning and activities at project sites.
  • Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with BluSky safety policies.
  • Ensure crews are equipped with necessary tools and materials.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship in all completed tasks.
  • Prioritize the safety of building occupants and workers on-site.
  • Perform inspections of work progress and confirm task completion.
  • Document daily activities, moisture logs, communications, and equipment usage.
  • Provide timely solutions to any project-related issues.
  • Maintain clear communication with the Project Manager, Project Director, and clients regarding project conditions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Adhere strictly to company best practices, safety, and legal standards.
  • Report all job site incidents to the BluSky Safety Consultant, Project Manager, and Human Resources.
SUPERVISORY ROLE:
  • This position supervises National Restoration Technicians and subcontractors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the restoration industry (water, fire, mold) is preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ability to interact professionally with team members.
  • Capable of motivating and encouraging team productivity.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate project changes.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities.
  • Experience in quality control/assurance.
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel for out-of-town projects and/or catastrophic events.
  • Must pass a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report check.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
EDUCATION:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
TRAVEL:
  • This position requires nationwide travel (100% of the time).
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment may vary from quiet to significantly loud.

The physical demands of this role include regularly lifting and/or moving 25-50 pounds. Employees must be able to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle materials, reach with hands and arms, and communicate effectively.
