Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and knowledgeable Financial Specialist to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance with established accounting standards. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of financial principles, exceptional analytical capabilities, and the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and scrutinize financial statements, ensuring adherence to GAAP.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, offering financial insights and strategic recommendations.
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain precise and organized financial records and documentation.
- Assist with audits and tax preparation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying areas for enhancement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with various departments to provide financial support and insights.
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll and related transactions.
- Stay informed on industry trends and updates in accounting regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage accounting and billing records, ensuring accuracy in transactions,
  • Review and finalize monthly financial reports,
  • Provide customer service and support for existing clients and project teams,
  • Oversee order processing, ensuring timely delivery of all open orders,
  • Review daily, weekly, and monthly open purchase orders and invoices,
    Document and monitor the ordering and delivery of hardware and software,
  • Address issues as they arise, recommending necessary actions for resolution,
  • Organize paperwork and customer documents, manage office supplies.
Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the IT or technology sector.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPA certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
