About the Role:

The Financial Operations Specialist role at Becker Studios presents a unique opportunity for a meticulous and skilled accounting professional to join a premier Design-Build Firm. Reporting directly to the Lead Accountant, this position is integral to the Finance Department's success. The Financial Operations Specialist will manage and execute accounts payable and receivable processes, credit card transactions, and reconciliations, along with various other responsibilities as required. There is potential for advancement into specialized areas based on the individual’s strengths and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, verify, and enter accounts payable invoices.
  • Record daily credit card expenditures and assist with reconciliations.
  • Maintain a systematic accounting filing system.
  • Provide administrative support to management as necessary.
  • Prepare Proformas and special project reports for management as needed.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive financial documents.
  • Engage professionally and courteously with vendors and financial institutions.
  • Propose enhancements for efficiency in accounting and related processes.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of bookkeeping experience, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for payroll processing and quarterly returns.
  • Outstanding organizational abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in the Windows operating system.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 per year
