Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Medina Hospital. As a RN Resident, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Responsibilities- Provide Direct Patient Care: Implement and monitor patient care plans, monitor and record patient condition, and communicate with healthcare team members as needed.
- Coordinate Patient Care: Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, including administering prescribed medications and treatments.
- Assess and Educate Patients: Assess patient's educational needs, provide teaching and educational material as appropriate, and validate patient and family understanding of teaching.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to achieve patient care goals, including assessing and coordinating patient's discharge planning needs.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing, BSN preferred.
- Certifications: Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA), and other certifications as required by the hospital.
- Experience: Minimum one year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting, with experience in general medical surgical care and observation units preferred.
