Critical Care Registered Nurse

Cleveland Clinic's Medina Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). This facility, known for its advanced research and exceptional patient care, has been a cornerstone of the community for over 75 years. The SICU is equipped with modern patient beds and cutting-edge technology, providing an environment where you can excel in delivering high-quality nursing care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering direct nursing care in line with established protocols and policies.
- Implementing and overseeing patient care plans.
- Monitoring and documenting patient conditions accurately.
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assessing patients' discharge needs and providing necessary education to patients and families.

Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required based on unit assignment.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum one year of acute care RN experience in a hospital setting.
- Experience in critical care or similar environments is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving patients.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
