Role Objective
The primary goal is to efficiently oversee and manage all culinary activities; maximizing profits by controlling food expenses, production processes, labor costs, and elevating sales through exceptional food quality, prompt service, and meticulously prepared dishes.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Make informed daily decisions and support team members during scheduled shifts
- Ensure staffing aligns with operational requirements and standards through effective scheduling
- Train and mentor team members, providing constructive feedback regularly
- Address culinary operational challenges swiftly
- Identify opportunities to enhance sales and manage costs proficiently
- Optimize inventory control
- Uphold high standards of food quality and sanitation
- Supervise the procurement, receipt, and storage of food supplies
- Encourage open communication within the culinary team
- Oversee restaurant operations in the absence of upper management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role within the restaurant industry
- Experience in procurement, production, and culinary operations
