Position Summary: The Site Manager will play a pivotal role within our operations team, overseeing the execution of diverse network infrastructure and cabling initiatives at designated sites. This role demands a blend of development, management, customer engagement, and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Empower teams and stakeholders to meet project objectives and milestones. Facilitate individual growth through goal setting and professional development.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to foster both individual and team advancement.
  • Establish clear objectives and strategic plans to drive innovation and scalability; collaborate with management to define long-term goals for the organization.
  • Communicate site status and potential risks proactively across cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal and external partners involved in design, construction, networking, and facility management.
  • Assist the team in mitigating risks and obstacles to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of structured cabling and network connectivity projects.
  • Oversee a self-sufficient site operations team that addresses operational requests and resolves issues to maintain data center reliability and uptime.
  • Implement a comprehensive safety plan to guide the team in conducting high-risk activities.
  • Ensure effective project management and successful delivery of network infrastructure and cabling projects.
  • Identify and develop improvement initiatives for team processes.
  • Utilize Key Performance Indicators and dashboards to assess delivery quality and timeliness, driving measurable enhancements.
  • Champion and implement global best practices, standard operating procedures, and efficient workflows.
  • Consult with team members to align project budgets with profit/loss expectations.
  • Work with team members to ensure material procurement aligns with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet staffing needs at the site level.
  • Define and implement additional service delivery requirements for new site opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in construction management, data centers, or structured cabling environments.
  • Proven track record of delivering critical programs on schedule, within budget, and adhering to quality and safety standards.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead effective teams.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring both direct reports and vendor teams.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and coordination skills across various disciplines.
  • PMP certification and/or experience managing Project Managers is preferred.
