Senior Project Coordinator - A/E/C Sector

Design Collaborative is on the lookout for a full-time, seasoned Senior Project Coordinator who is dedicated to enhancing the environments in which people live and work. We are particularly interested in a Senior Project Coordinator with substantial experience in commercial project management within the A/E/C sector.

Our Senior Project Coordinators are tasked with leveraging the diverse skills and knowledge of our multi-disciplinary design team, as well as collaborating with our trusted consultants, to ensure the delivery of projects that are timely, profitable, and of exceptional technical quality. With a strong emphasis on teamwork, the Senior Project Coordinator is pivotal within Design Collaborative, guiding the team, engaging with clients, and ultimately driving project success.

As the main liaison with clients, the Senior Project Coordinator plays an essential role in Business Development, which includes initial outreach, proposal crafting and presentations, ongoing client engagement, and supporting the firm's public relations initiatives. Exceptional customer relations, organizational prowess, and communication skills are vital for success in this position.

Moreover, the Senior Project Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and overseeing project personnel assignments and assisting the Studio Leader in fostering the growth and development of team members. The ideal candidate is adept at prioritizing and managing several projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field with experience in the construction industry and an understanding of the design process
  • 10+ years of experience with an Architectural firm or in the Construction industry
  • 2+ years of experience in a project management role
  • Experience in project scheduling and planning
  • Proficient in client relationship management

  • Capability to inspire and develop team members
  • Adept at managing multiple projects and diverse project teams
  • Familiarity with Revit and BIM technologies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated success in crafting innovative solutions, problem-solving, and making critical decisions
  • Experienced in managing client relationships effectively

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development / Client Engagement
  • Oversees the project lifecycle from marketing proposals to post-construction client relations
  • Development of project fees, tracking projections, and managing invoicing
  • Scheduling of personnel resources
