Position Summary: The Site Manager plays a crucial role within our operations team, overseeing the execution of various network infrastructure and cabling initiatives at designated sites. This role demands a blend of development, management, customer interaction, and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Empower teams and stakeholders to meet project objectives and milestones. Facilitate individual growth through goal setting and professional development.
  • Guide, mentor, and support both individual and team advancement.
  • Establish clear objectives and strategic plans to innovate and expand; actively participate in management discussions to shape long-term goals.
  • Communicate site progress and potential risks effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners in design, construction, network, and facility operations.
  • Assist the team in mitigating risks and obstacles to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of cabling and network projects.
  • Manage a self-sufficient site operations team that addresses operational requests and ensures data center reliability throughout the network installation lifecycle.
  • Implement a comprehensive safety plan to guide the team in conducting high-risk activities.
  • Accountable for the effective management and delivery of network infrastructure and cabling projects.
  • Identify and develop improvement initiatives for team performance.
  • Utilize Key Performance Indicators and dashboards to assess delivery quality and drive improvements.
  • Champion and implement global best practices and efficient processes.
  • Consult with team members to ensure project budgets align with financial expectations.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure material procurement meets project specifications.
  • Ensure staffing requirements are fulfilled at the site level.
  • Define and implement additional service delivery standards for new site opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in construction management, data centers, or structured cabling environments.
  • Proven track record of delivering critical programs on schedule, within budget, and adhering to quality and safety standards.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead effective teams.
  • Proficient in assessing, coaching, and mentoring both direct reports and vendor teams.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and coordination skills across multiple disciplines.
  • PMP certification and/or experience managing Project Managers is preferred.
