Position Overview

We are in search of a Project Manager to oversee and provide estimates for public bid and design-build projects from the initial planning phase through to completion and client approval. The systems involved include: Structured Cabling, Public Address Intercom, Classroom Audio Visual, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Video Surveillance, Fire Alarm, and Clock Systems. The design process encompasses equipment research, technology assessment, vendor coordination, and the generation of bid documents or scope of work documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage technology projects from inception to completion.
  • Configure and deliver technology solutions as per contractual agreements.
  • Generate takeoffs and estimates based on bid drawings and specifications.
  • Experience in project design from initial schematics to final proposal presentations.
  • Adhere to BICSI standards and industry best practices in design and product application.
  • Advise management on potential project risks and issues in relation to project requirements.
  • Actively engage with project schedules and deadlines to ensure they are realistic and achievable.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of project management experience or a related technical field.
  • Strong understanding and enthusiasm for modern technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-driven with a proactive approach to securing new clients.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, and other Office applications.
