At Aspcapro, our dedicated professionals in animal care, veterinary services, and behavioral support work collectively to assist animals rescued from cruelty and disaster situations. Our team collaborates closely with various departments to ensure seamless operations and deliver exceptional care to animals affected by neglect, abuse, and emergencies. We prioritize continuous improvement through education, research, and the development of innovative practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Oversight (40%):

  • Direct the Animal Welfare Operations team, ensuring efficient daily functions and high-quality care for all animals.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication protocols to adapt to the evolving needs of our facilities.
  • Ensure all team members are well-versed in policies and procedures, conducting regular training sessions.
  • Oversee the development of a strategic plan that aligns with organizational goals and individual staff objectives.
  • Manage a comprehensive budget, providing financial forecasts and submitting annual budget requests.
  • Provide leadership in the field during emergency responses and collaborate with legal and veterinary teams.

Team Development and Management (40%):

  • Support staff in understanding their roles in achieving organizational objectives, fostering a sense of belonging.
  • Supervise senior directors and administrative staff, conducting regular performance evaluations and career development discussions.
  • Promote a positive work environment by leading team-building initiatives and ensuring effective conflict resolution.
  • Encourage staff resilience and work-life balance, providing ongoing support and resources.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to recruit and onboard qualified personnel.

Collaboration and Additional Duties (20%):

  • Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Lead case planning discussions, providing insights on resource availability and operational capacity.
  • Participate in research initiatives and support the Learning Lab's educational efforts.
  • Fulfill other responsibilities as assigned by senior leadership.
