Job Title: Vice President, Cruelty Recovery Center

Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for animal welfare? Do you have experience managing large teams and overseeing complex programs? We are seeking a Vice President, Cruelty Recovery Center to join our team at the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).

Job Summary:

The Vice President, Cruelty Recovery Center will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in the development and implementation of programs and services to support the recovery and rehabilitation of animals affected by cruelty and neglect. This role will require strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of professionals in the development and implementation of programs and services to support the recovery and rehabilitation of animals affected by cruelty and neglect.
  • Oversee the management of a substantial budget and ensure that resources are allocated effectively to support program goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including other ASPCA teams, community partners, and government agencies.
  • Collaborate with other leaders to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to support the ASPCA's mission and goals.
  • Ensure that all programs and services are delivered in a manner that is consistent with the ASPCA's values and standards.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as animal science, business administration, or public administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the animal welfare or non-profit sector.
  • Proven track record of success in managing large teams and overseeing complex programs.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
