Job Description

Job Summary:

Townsquare Media is seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to join our media and digital advertising team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying, connecting, and closing new business opportunities in the Sioux Falls market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Determine a strategy for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the local market.
  • Prospecting and Qualifying: Use our proprietary data and analytics to prospect and qualify potential clients.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain close working relationships with internal teams to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Client Service: Provide world-class client service, research, and market analysis to create successful campaigns for our clients.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Responsible for bringing our premier marketing and advertising solutions to local and regional businesses in the Sioux Falls market, with a focus on diversifying our clients' solutions through cross-selling.
  • Account Management: Make a high level of new business calls, create new relationships with local and regional businesses, and work with local and corporate marketing teams to develop campaign support materials.
  • Revenue Management: Accurately project revenues, meet and exceed monthly budgets for all product lines, and overachieve annual budgets.
  • Administrative Tasks: Enter new customer data and other sales contract details for station clients.
  • Team Collaboration: Follow accountabilities set forth by the Director of Sales to help guide you to success achieving monthly sales quotas consistently.
  • Strategic Insights: Provide insight and value to executive management to shape the future of our organization.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of sales experience required in the media and digital field, with a history of success with customers and a proven ability to develop and grow revenue.
  • Skills: Goal-oriented, strong work ethic, and a strong desire to learn. General understanding of digital advertising, such as Google AdWords, Facebook Ads, and Programmatic Advertising, is preferred.
  • Education: Associates/Bachelor's degree in business or marketing-related field or equivalent experience.
