The Senior Manager of Technology Business Analysis is a pivotal leadership role that serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology experts, ensuring effective communication and understanding of business needs. The primary aim of this position is to enhance business performance through ongoing analysis and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee various teams of business analysts dedicated to different systems or functional areas, managing tasks such as resource allocation, budgeting, performance assessments, and staffing.
  • Provide expert guidance to facilitate the efficient design, development, and execution of technology solutions while ensuring adherence to established protocols.
  • Formulate strategies and guidelines to determine staffing needs, manage resources, and contribute to the establishment of operational standards.
  • Address complex issues that extend beyond immediate responsibilities, leveraging a deep understanding of business analysis methodologies and related fields.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals, influencing and negotiating with senior leadership as necessary.
  • Utilize analytical skills to make informed judgments in unique and dynamic scenarios, drawing insights from a variety of internal and external sources.
  • Assess risks associated with business decisions, prioritizing the organization's reputation and compliance with relevant laws and regulations, while fostering accountability among team members.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • Proven leadership capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across different organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in complex analytical and problem-solving techniques.
  • Technical expertise in relevant technologies.
  • Familiarity with Mainframe applications.
  • Experience in data analysis methodologies.
  • Proficient in tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • A Master's degree is preferred.
