Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing all functions of the general ledger, including the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
2. Ensuring precise and timely payroll updates for new hires, terminations, and pay rate adjustments.
3. Generating and submitting weekly/monthly financial reports, including cash flow forecasts.
4. Assisting in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and coordinating the audit process.
5. Establishing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
6. Providing payroll tax assistance and managing payroll operations.
7. Aiding in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
8. Collaborating with various departments to support overall financial objectives.
9. Addressing inquiries from finance directors and other management regarding financial outcomes and special reporting needs.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

1. A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
2. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
3. 3-5 years of proficiency with QuickBooks.
4. Previous experience in a CPA firm is highly advantageous.
5. Demonstrated expertise in bookkeeping and payroll services.
6. Knowledge of payroll tax regulations and payroll management.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
8. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
9. The capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
