Position Overview

The Food Service Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing and directing the activities within the culinary service environment. This includes overseeing inventory management, enhancing customer interactions, ensuring food preparation standards, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities may differ based on specific client needs and operational requirements.

COMPENSATION: The hourly wage for this role is set at $17.55, subject to variations based on the candidate's qualifications, relevant certifications, previous experience, market trends, and other pertinent factors. Additional earnings may include performance bonuses or commissions where applicable. This represents Aramark's reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position at the time of posting.

Upon employment, the individual will be classified as an "at-will employee," allowing Aramark to adjust the base salary and any other discretionary compensation at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to individual performance, departmental performance, and market conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organizes and allocates daily tasks to the food service team while overseeing task completion.
  • Educates and mentors staff on their responsibilities, food safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
  • Prepares and assembles food items following established recipes and guidelines.
  • Ensures proper food storage in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Sets up workstations, including preparation areas, service counters, and heating equipment.
  • Disassembles, cleans, and sanitizes work areas post-service.
  • Serves food to patrons, ensuring satisfaction and anticipating their needs.
  • Restocks food items to maintain adequate supply levels.
  • Exhibits outstanding customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, clients, and colleagues.
  • Follows Aramark's safety protocols, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Safeguards company assets.

Qualifications
  • Prior supervisory experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in food service is required.
  • Ability to obtain food safety certification is necessary.
  • Must be capable of working independently with minimal oversight.
  • Exemplary customer service skills are essential.

This position may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
