Position Summary

As the Market Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing the operations of our San Francisco FiDi Market, which encompasses ten locations, under the guidance of your Regional Manager.

Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the operational efficiency of your assigned locations, ensuring optimal inventory levels, timely order placements, and effective sales performance while minimizing waste. You will utilize forecasting tools in Excel and Toast to achieve these goals. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining and enhancing store processes to meet company standards.

Our stores operate Monday through Friday. If you are a dedicated operations professional with a passion for high-quality food and teamwork, this role may be a perfect fit for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Supervise daily and weekly inventory levels using Excel and Toast reporting tools. Establish par levels to drive sales and reduce waste, while managing supply orders effectively.
  • Operational Support: Assist the team with troubleshooting technology issues (e.g., Toast systems, Excel). Ensure that all operational procedures are executed efficiently and to the highest standards. Monitor equipment functionality and report any maintenance needs to the Regional Manager.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure that our teams deliver an outstanding customer experience by maintaining a clean store environment, upholding food quality, and providing exceptional service. Actively monitor and respond to customer feedback through various channels.
  • Catering & Menu Management: Collaborate with the Catering Lead to support the catering program. Ensure that in-store materials, such as labels, menus, and signage, are current and accurate.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a positive and high-performance culture within the team. Lead by example and be willing to assist wherever necessary to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Essential Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail or restaurant operations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Toast and Adobe is advantageous.
  • Ability to lift 25+ lbs.
  • Availability during business hours, currently Monday through Friday.
