Role Overview

In this pivotal position, you will lead the development and deployment of AI applications for our initial clients—ranging from identifying customer requirements to implementing solutions in their systems—while influencing our Engineering and broader Fractional culture as we expand to over 100 engineers.

Key Qualifications:

  • You produce high-quality code and are passionate about coding excellence (4+ years of experience): you create sophisticated, production-ready code and possess strong skills in various programming languages.
  • You have experience with Large Language Models: you have successfully built scalable applications utilizing LLMs, employing frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.
  • You enjoy tackling challenging, novel problems: you are adept at self-learning, questioning assumptions, and experimenting to find solutions to unfamiliar issues.
  • You are prepared for a startup environment: you proactively take initiative, embrace a 'no task too big or too small' attitude, and aspire to influence strategy and culture.
  • You excel in user engagement: you prioritize user needs and adeptly manage user interactions to ensure our solutions align with their requirements.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement bespoke AI solutions tailored to the specific needs of our clients, ensuring smooth integration and scalability.
  • Collaborate with a talented team throughout the entire project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to prototyping, system architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Actively contribute to shaping our Engineering and overall company culture—from our learning practices to hiring processes and celebrations—you will help define what makes Fractional a great workplace.
