Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Information Security Specialist to join our team at KYYBA. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding our information systems and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:


• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline is highly preferred.
• Possess certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).


• Have a minimum of 6 years of experience in technology audit, Information Security, or Information Technology.


• Demonstrate at least 2 years of experience in SOX IT control execution, testing, or IT auditing.


• Accumulate three years of experience in Information Security or IT roles.


• Exhibit proven experience in conducting Risk and Control Self Assessments, Audits, or examinations related to technology or information security.


• Show proficiency in auditing general IT controls, including infrastructure (Active Directory), operating systems (UNIX, Linux, Windows), databases (Oracle DB and MS SQL DB), and applications (Oracle, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, etc.).


• Design and execute root cause analyses, control gap assessments, and process improvement initiatives using analytical and critical thinking skills to swiftly identify internal control weaknesses, assess their risk implications, and draw appropriate conclusions.


• Familiarize yourself with industry-standard frameworks for technology, such as COBIT, ISO, NIST, SANS, and others to create Governance, Risk, and Control frameworks for technology and information security.


• Develop internal control documentation, including narratives, process and data flows, and other supporting work papers.


• Maintain a solid understanding of the business environment and the risks associated with the financial services sector, IT landscapes, and information data flows.


• Comprehend IT audit principles and procedures, evaluate the severity of potential issues identified during testing, and provide guidance to junior team members.


• Understand the business processes and systems within IT organizations (IT Security, data management, architectural planning, technology lifecycle management, regulatory concerns).


• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and perform well under pressure.


• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present new ideas and findings to senior management effectively.


• Demonstrate a consistent track record of meeting deadlines and commitments.


• Collaborate effectively across functional and organizational boundaries.


• Possess knowledge of risk management tools.


• Work effectively both in teams and as an individual contributor.
