Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project work plans, adjusting as necessary to accommodate evolving needs and requirements.
  • Identify necessary resources for projects and ensure appropriate staffing.
  • Oversee daily operational elements of projects and their scope.
  • Uphold project management standards and mitigate risks associated with projects.
  • Meet delivery timelines and effectively manage multiple projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor projects for scope creep and budgetary concerns, including hours and expenses.
  • Ensure project documentation is thorough, up-to-date, and securely stored.
  • Determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensure timely invoicing, and track project receivables.
  • Understand fundamental revenue models, profit/loss, and project cost completion to inform decision-making.
  • Accurately project revenue, profitability, billing rates, and resource utilization.
  • Identify business development and additional sales opportunities related to specific projects.
  • Facilitate effective team and client meetings.
  • Prepare and regularly update project status reports for clients.
  • Conduct regular status meetings with project teams and communicate relevant information to management.
  • Stay informed about new and emerging technologies and their potential applications in client projects.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as required.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in project management.
  • 5-10 years of experience in integrated testing environments, with knowledge of automated testing equipment, including the NI toolchain.
  • Strong risk management skills: ability to identify and assess project-related risks.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, MS Teams, SVN, and other Microsoft tools.
  • Experience managing projects with cost-based accounting.
  • Understanding of the engineering product development lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP Certification.
  • Experience with Capability Maturity Model Integration.
