Position Overview

As the Bioproduction Account Manager, you will report directly to the Benelux District Manager and collaborate with a diverse team to deliver innovative solutions to our clients. Your role will focus on expanding the existing business and identifying new growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the adoption and assessment of Gibco cell culture media, single-use technologies, process liquids, pharmaceutical analytics, and purification products within biopharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
  • Utilize a consultative approach to facilitate design-in discussions, leveraging our open architecture model to create tailored solutions.
  • Manage relationships with Key Accounts and influential stakeholders in the region, some of which may extend to global markets.
  • Develop and implement a strategic territory and account plan to enhance business development efforts.
  • Exercise sound judgment and prioritization to engage the right resources to achieve sales targets.
  • Adapt to a proactive sales environment, collaborating with various teams to ensure efficient administration and proposal delivery to clients.
  • Compete for existing business while actively pursuing new sales opportunities to meet or exceed established goals.
  • Maintain and expand business within current key accounts while demonstrating a proactive approach to establish new connections in emerging market segments.
  • Collaborate closely with technical and field applications teams to ensure appropriate support for key evaluations and projects in the region.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with the Bioproduction Market is advantageous.
  • Ideally, 1-3 years of relevant experience in sales and account management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster relationships.
  • Exceptional communication capabilities.
  • Proficient in trade and presentation skills.
  • Ability to set and achieve short and long-term business objectives independently.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch and/or French is required.
